It was a great stay, the best I've had so far. This hotel is in a fantastic central location close to downtown Grand Rapids nightlife. The breakfast was delicious and offered excellent value. The food was superb.

The rooms have very comfy beds. The location is absolutely perfect, just a pleasant stroll away from Grand Rapids Public Museum. The staff are extremely friendly and provide good service.

The whole room was well-stocked and brand-new with a fridge or microwave and separate bar, as for instance. The breakfast was savoury and large and at elevated prices; the staff was excellent!

The location was marvelous and incredible. the breakfast was savory with a variety of food to choose from. - I had a brand-new, updated room with a fridge and a queen bed, for example, which led to a good night's sleep.

I was given a peaceful room on the 4th floor with a fridge and microwave, in a convenient location to walk to Van Andel Museum Center, where the restaurant and staff were excellent.

Location of the hotel and parking facilities

Check Inn was bad. Demand for queen-size bed or king-size bed was denied, all occupied. Then they wanted to put us in a small room with a SMALL double bed. After a complaint we were suddenly offered a better room with king-size bed, but only for an extra charge. Price is not justified for hotel equipment and condition of the rooms, urgently renovation is needed. In the evening at the bar there was a very listless lady who did not encourage us to stay longer. Was in the hotel 2 years ago and actually already at that time dissatisfied. I will surely stay overnight several times in Grand Rapids (family ties) but definitely not in the Holiday Inn anymore. The partly quite good evaluations are not justified from my view.

Very nice hotel. Location is great. Directly across from museums and lots of restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were all very professional and responsive. I requested a refrigerator for my room and a maint guy was there in 10 min delivering it. They have a convenient well stocked little snack store in the lobby, free internet, fax and printer access. They rent free comfort bikes to get around with helmet and a lock all day use. Only concern I had entire weeklong stay. There is a walkway out back along the blue bridge. At night it is dark and I was approached several times by homeless men begging for money. Otherwise, Gr rapids is a very nice town with cute little bridge walk ways and good food along van andel arena area and Flying pig.

The location here is great, in a charming area of town, with free on-site parking; the staff is super helpful and friendly, and the facilities are clean.

Great Location

Was there for the Bob Seger Concert and after the concert went to the Bar for a few drinks and I felt that the Bar was understaff. Considering that most of the guest that was there was for the concert I thought that the manager did not have the proper staff available.

The hotel was reasonably priced and wonderful with a good location just off downtown. The room was well-stocked and had a pleasant view of downtown. The queen size bed was very comfy, I slept well. The venue provided good service. Free Wi-Fi throughout the property was an unexpected bonus. The hotel's location was favorable and perfect, not too far from Grand Rapids Public Museum. the stay was really nice.

Front desk staff was friendly and very effecient. Check in was speedy and pleasant. Rooms were nice and clean. Bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. All around comfort and cleanliness was good. our experience was good. We would stay here again.

The hotel restaurant was a bad experience. Could not get service in the evening. After waiting for 25 minutes and no service, we had to leave. Understaffed for the amount of customers that were waiting. Wait staff seemed to be very confused and delivering wrong food to wrong customers.

The room was well-stocked. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the savory breakfast for excellent value. The location was great, close to everything I was going to. The hotel is near the two main museums in the city, the Gerald R Ford Museum, and close to restaurants.

It made our trip to Grand Rapids a quite comfortable experience. Fairly clean and brilliant place and the breakfast was savoury and tasty. Every staff member was pleasant. The service was great, including a quick check-in:)))

The brand-new hotel is located in a great area right by downtown Grand Rapids. the Pearl Grill restaurant offers savory and large breakfast options. - There is a good selection of breakfast options to choose from. - the location is marvelous, close to an urban park.

The location is perfect. Plenty of easy access to downtown attractions and the hotel was even providing shuttle service to local bars and restaurants.

We had an issue with the door of our room. It wasn't square in the door frame leaving nearly an inch wide gap from the floor to about two and a half feet up the door, allowing you to see into the room from the hallway. We went back to front desk and they sent a maintenance man to place a piece of weather stripping in the gap. I'd rather have had another room but they were booked full for the weekend. Otherwise, the room was very nice, modern, updated, clean, and comfortable. We stayed two nights, and will return.
